Our Leadership

I came to Celebrate Recover in October 2014 because I had a problem with Pornography that had gotten beyond my control and was affecting my marriage. In the years since I've helped serving food, serving in Celebration Place, starting The Landing, led step groups, and was chosen by the pastor at Trinity to be the male ministry leader at CR Trinity. 

In addition to the sexual purity issues I came with, in my first step study I discovered I also suffered from depression, anxiety, and anger. As I've worked on those issues, God has made me aware of other issues needing work, but he is so good and kind about correcting me. In His care, healing is possible. In my own strength, life is a struggle.

 I'm a grateful believer of Jesus Christ, and I first came to CR for suicidal ideation. He saved my life so He could redeem it, and He is continuing to change me, one day at a time. Co-dependence and extreme negative feelings have lessened as I submit my will to His. There is healing in Jesus' Name, and I am proof of that. I encourage anyone who is hurting, tired of trying to break habits on their own, and unable to curb their hangups: Come do it in His power and grow with us!
